Iska

Iska

Iska is the 'mummy' bear in a group of four bears that won third prize in the national British Bear Artists Awards in December 2007, so you can be assured that she is made to a very high standard.

This gorgeous bear is made of 21mm dense white mohair with dark 'skin' like a real polar bear. She has black Ultrasuede paws and black claws. Her double neck joint allows her to pose on all fours as well as sitting like a traditional teddy.

She has 8 bolt and locknut joints - four limbs, wrists, and her compound neck joint. As is usual in our bears, all of her joints are of the bolt and locknut type for strength, and to ensure that they won't slacken off.

Her fat tummy is evidence that she is as cuddly as they come! She has a growler (something of a necessity when the kids are being fractious) and weighs 880 grams.

She is an artist bear, not a toy, and so young children should be supervised when cuddling her.

Iska is one of a kind.

Sitting height:  30cm (12")
Standing height:  36cm (14")
Weight:  880gm (1lb 14oz)
Joints:  8

Adopted - sorry! Tilly could make you a similar (but not identical) bear.
